Here’s the EP description:
Dillavou’s new solo EP ‘Nuff Badness’ is a bold new addition to the modern reggae genre. His message-driven lyrics of praise and struggle are backed by hard charging reggae riddims produced by Solomon Jabby. Dillavou’s strong, soulful delivery is a testament to his amazing talent and the reason why he has worked with an impressive number of artists including Lecrae, Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D., Christafari, Jennifer Howland, Solomon Jabby, Benjah, Cam, Tedashii and many others.
This EP covers a wide variety of reggae sub genres. From the hip-hop/R&B tinged reggae chat track Faith In A Stranger (feat. Jennifer Howland) to the neo-roots stylings of Nuff Badness. Mary Don’t You Cry features an early 80′s era style production vibe accompanied by Dillavou’s amazing arrangement of stacked vocal harmonies while Colors Of The Rainbow is a “Third World-esque” heavy roots harmony track that beautifully paints a verbal picture of Jahoviah’s Mercy and His new covenant that is centered on Yeshua the Christ. The musical journey concludes with a dub version of Mary Don’t You Cry (Solomon Jabby Dub) and allows the listener to unwind and digest with some heavy drum and bass. This is definitely a must-have release, support positive music!
