The Inciters on Roots Rock Rebel! April 18 podcast

Roots Rock Rebel

Wednesday, April 18, 2012

10pm-12am, CKUT, 90.3 FM, Montreal!

Welcome back to another weekly podcast of Roots Rock Rebel! This week, we had a huge northern soul throwdown! Nothing but dancefloor packin’ good times, with plenty of off beats and high-kicks. Our special guest on the program this week was Rick Kendrick, one of the founding members of the Californian northern soul outfit The Inciters! The Inciters got started in 1995, and developed a large international following, but they took a hiatus starting in 2005. Then, after a huge demand, the band was reformed in 2011. Recently, they released their new album Soul Clap on Jump Up records, their first record in over a decade. But the band is sounding better than ever! Check out The Inciters and pick up their new album here.

This coming week on the program, our special guest is gonna be Mad Bomber Society from Edmonton, Alberta. Tune in online on Wednesday, April 25 from 10pm-12am EST on CKUT radio!

Until next week, stay rude, and stay rebel
