What’s up there wide world of web? Another day, another tour. Since the Skatalites run back in April, I’ve done a tour playin with the Hub City Stompers, as well as my first “solo” tour alongside the ever so awesome Snails from Philly. I fnished the Los angeles sessions with Joe, Angel, and Tony from the Delirians, and am in the process of finishing the NYC session with Agent Jay. But that leads up to now. I’m out right now with the NYC kings, the band you all love, The Slackers!
Last week we rolled to Milwaukee’s fine airport to head to NOLA. It had been about a year since I’d been there, and actually had zero interest to ever go back. We all have to conquer demons right?
Tour so far has been great! The Green Room Rockers have opened up all of the shows, as well as The Prizefighters in Minneapolis. What a night. I find I see these people, maybe 6 times a year, but when were all in a room, its just like nothings changed, like we have seen everyone once a week for years. That is the glory of the tour.
Chicago was, as always, off the chain. I again found myself at the Cobra Lounge along with the old chi-town and cinci family. Anthony, and Matt from The Pinstripes and Drastics, Todd from DGB and his lovely ol’ lady Laura, rockie, and Mr.Eric from Fear City. Oh. And Dave Simon. Who is the best. ha! Well either way, chi-town is always a good night.
Oh, yeah. Make sure you check out The Hall Trees. Marcus and Glen (Slackers) plus 100 DB’s new psychadelic 60′s pop 7inch. It’s wicked. I got em at the merch table. All you tech people, facebook/tweet at 100dbs for the hookup!
Oh and my shameless plug.
New 7 inch split with Jorge and the Landladies coming soon via the Big Ska Gamble and Whatevski Records!
