Exactly one year ago, a 9.0 magnitude ripped through the Tōhoku region of Japan, triggering huge tsunami waves and one of the worst nuclear accidents in the past 25 years ago. At least 19,000 people died or went missing and hundreds of thousands more are still displaced from their homes.
To this day, the people of Japan are still recovering and rebuilding their lives.
