Roots Rock Rebel
Wednesday, August 11, 2010
10pm-12am
CKUT, 90.3FM, Montreal!
World massive!
The sun is shining, the weather is fine, and welcome back to another
weekly edition of the Roots Rock Rebel podcast.
This week on the show, we bring you an interview with Jeremy Pena, the
lead vocalist of The Bandulus from Houston, Texas. The Bandulus just
dropped their first full-length album, “Ska, reggae, soul”, and we got to
sample a few tracks here, as well as hear what Jeremy has been up to.
Enjoy!
Also, plenty of great music new and old on this podcast, with some soul
and punk that’ll getcha moving. Stay tuned in the next few weeks for
interviews with The Ripcordz, Class War Kids, Maddie Ruthless, and more!
Oh, and here’s a little extra treat for you. It’s the latest edition of
The Hangers TV, which was shot back in April 2010 when King Django payed a
visit to CKUT’s studios for Roots Rock Rebel. Check it out!
Until next week,
Stay rude, stay rebel,
Aaron Maiden
