Roots Rock Rebel
Wednesday, August 4, 2010
10pm-12am
CKUT, 90.3FM, Montreal!
World massive!
Welcome back to another weekly podcast of Roots Rock Rebel. I took a week
off from the program to go on vacation, but I’m very happy to come back
well rested, and full up with new music.
On the show this week, we have an interview with none other than the great
Bunny Wailer! Along with Peter Tosh and Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer was one
of the founding members of the Wailers from Jamaica, arguably one of the
most important bands for bringing reggae and ska music to the world. In
the interview, Bunny talks about some of his new material, as well as his
thoughts on reggae music today. Big thanks to JD and Pat Dillon from CKUT’s Bhum Bhum Time for doing this interview with Bunny Wailer on the phone from Jamaica! He’ll be headlining the 7th International
Montreal Reggae Festival this weekend. Details here:

Next week on the program, we’ll be bringing you an interview with The
Bandulus from Houston, Texas. Ska goes down south!
Until next week,
Stay rude, stay rebel,
Aaron Maiden
